Sister-in-law instructs kids to steal from jewelry and money from aunt at Thanksgiving party, protests when she doesn't want to get them Christmas presents: 'I never got an apology from her'

For most people who choose to settle down, their spouse will be the only family member that they ever get to choose. Sadly, not everyone chooses wisely when it comes to marriage, and many people suffer the consequences. In-law relationships are known to be tricky, but some people get a worse deal with it than others.

In some families, it must get frustrating that you can't try to divorce somebody on behalf of your sibling. One such example of this comes from a Redditor who was outraged at her sister-in-law's behavior. She recently hosted a family Thanksgiving party at which she had money and jewelry stolen, and it turned out her nieces and nephews were the culprits. Her sister-in-law admitted she had put them up to it, leading to a falling out but despite this, she still sent across her children's Christmas lists with expectation of a contribution. It's no surprise the internet did not accept this behavior.

    Call me weird but I have cameras in my house, one outside and one at the celling of the living room so that camera can see everything.
